This is the non-personal, commercial information supplied by the client for customization, which is essential to the service:

  • Organization names, team names, mascots, mottos, and official color codes.

  • Historical facts, mission statements, and traditions for the "Legacy Section."

  • Roster templates or lists of team names (we do not typically collect individual athlete names unless explicitly provided by the client and necessary for a specific customization feature).

3. How We Use Your Information

We do not sell or rent your Contact Information or Organizational Content Data to third parties for marketing purposes. We only share information with third parties necessary to complete our service:

  • Printing Partners: We share finalized, approved Organizational Content Data and book files with our commercial printing partners solely for printing and shipping your books.

  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal obligations.

 

5. Data Security

 

We implement reasonable security measures to protect the information we collect and store. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Our services are directed to adult representatives of organizations (coaches, directors, etc.). We do not knowingly market to or solicit personal information from individuals under the age of 18. Any organizational data provided about minors (such as team rosters) is the responsibility of the client organization to collect and share in compliance with applicable laws (e.g., COPPA, if applicable).

8. Disclaimer Regarding Fictional Content

 

We must ensure clarity regarding the nature of the custom novels we produce. While the organization provides specific details for customization (names, colors, locations), the novel itself remains a work of fiction.

The following standard disclaimer will be placed on the copyright page of every customized book we publish:

"This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, places, and incidents are the product of the author's imagination or are used fictitiously. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or to actual businesses, companies, organizations, institutions, or events is purely coincidental."

This confirms that while we use the client's branding, the events, dialogue, and character arcs within the narrative are entirely imaginary.
