How The Story Fundraiser Works:

Here is the three-phase process, from concept to cash in hand:

PHASE 1: Concept & Customization

This phase establishes the narrative, design, and financial agreement.

Step 1: The Pilot Agreement
  • The Goal: We define the target audience (e.g., Cheer Team, Model UN Delegation, Hockey Club) and secure the fixed, one-time $750 Setup/Customization Fee.

  • The Promise: This fee covers all initial labor: design, custom editing, file preparation, and e-commerce setup. It is recouped entirely after you sell just 50 books - making your path to profit extremely fast and low-risk(See Phase 3).

Step 2: Narrative Customization
  • The Action: We take a proven story (like The Flip Side) and fully customize the setting, organization name, colors, and specific challenges to match your team or non-profit’s mission and culture.

  • Example Customizations: Integrating your team's mascot, referencing local landmarks (Phoenix mountains, specific rinks/gyms), and tailoring character arcs to reflect your organization's core values.

Step 3: Design & Approval
  • The Deliverable: We generate a custom, high-resolution cover proof incorporating your colors and logo. We also draft the custom Foreword by Leadership and the Legacy Section featuring your mission, rosters, and history.

  • The Requirement: Your team approves the final narrative, cover design, and back cover copy.

PHASE 2: Launch & Sales

Once the design is approved, the product is immediately ready for sale. We handle all logistics.

Step 4: POD Production & Sales Portal Activation
  • The Process: Approved files are instantly submitted to our Print-on-Demand (POD) partner, Lulu Direct.

  • The Launch: We activate your dedicated, custom e-commerce site: www.storyfundraiser.org/<YOUR TEAM NAME>. The book is listed at the Retail Price (SRP) of $35.00.

Step 5: Client Marketing
  • Your Role: You market the book to your community (parents, alumni, local businesses) using the custom URL we provide.

  • Key Advantage: Because the book is custom and high-value, the $35.00 SRP is enthusiastically accepted, and sales conversions are exceptionally high.

PHASE 3: Fulfillment & Profit Payout (Ongoing)

This phase ensures passive income for your organization with zero labor required from you.

Step 6: Zero-Effort Fulfillment
  • The Magic: When a customer places an order on your custom website, we automatically handle the transaction, printing, packaging, and shipping directly to the customer's door.

  • The Result: Your organization never touches a box, manages inventory, or deals with shipping logistics.

Step 7: Maximum Monthly Profit
  • The Formula: From every single $35.00 book sale, your organization earns a flat $15.00 profit. This represents an unheard-of  industry-leading 42.86% profit margin while completely eliminating inventory risk and all volunteer effort.

  • Payouts: We provide transparent, detailed sales reports and process your net profit payout (via check or ACH transfer) at the end of every month for all sales in that period.
